The history of Applied Leather Art.

Our names are Jacek and Violetta Brecz and we are
the owners of Applied Leather Art.
We are a family business - husband and wife -
working together, enjoying what we do and always
looking for better results.

We were born in Poland - a country with
hundreds of year's tradition in leather crafts
and leather goods manufacturing.
Both our families have been part of this tradition.

In 1993 we made a decision to establish our
leather business based on our experience in leather craft, personal skills
and deep love for hand crafted leather products.

For three years we were experimenting with new design, staining
techniques and different kinds of leather. Finally, we decided to use
cowhide and lately kangaroo hide - for their strength and durability.
We have invented a unique technique of staining which gives our products
stylish and rustic appearance and we have selected the best from our designs.

Applied Leather Art makes everything to satisfy our customers and
fulfill their expectations for high quality hand crafted leather products.

A material for each of our products is cut, stained, hand stitched and
finished personally by us so we have full control over the production process.

Applied Leather Art workshop is situated in Ingleburn, a Sydney suburb,
45 minuets drive south of the City.

You can see us personally every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm
at The Rocks Market in Sydney.
